Fic Challenge

The following is a screencap from Alias 3.06 - The Nemesis. Syd is at a rockin' party in Milan looking for a man who knows the location of a missile launching type device. In the balcony above her, Alison Doren has a high-powered sniper rifle, looking to make an assassination. As Syd makes her way toward her target, she passes the following man:



Write the fic. Can be anything. You can figure (as I do) that Season 3 takes place in 2005 (the only way the series could logistically work, if it ever did). You can follow Xander's adventures through the Alias world. Does he meet Syd later? Is he working as a Council operative? Or is he Covenant now (because, really, anybody can be Covenant)?

Or you can just explain what Xander's doing get his groove down in Italy?

And where's the eyepatch and the excess weight?

(oh, and just to clarify - that's really Kelly Donovan, who does stunts for Alias).
