Notes: Yes, I posted this last week, but now I wanted to make a proper vid post. This vid marks the end of the thirteen year run of Classic-Horror.com, the site that I ran since I was 16 years. As such, it is occasionally mournful and occasionally celebratory. It is, of all my vids, the most reflective of me. It combines clips from over 200 different horror movies, some popular, some incredibly obscure (and all of which have been reviewed on Classic-Horror.com).

It's been three years in the making, so there are a lot of people to thank for their help and notes and encouragement -- folks like midnightfae, echan, bradcpu, lizbetann, and diannelamerc. I'm sure I'm forgetting somebody.

Is it kind of a hodgepodge? Yes. I have a much better vid about horror and its history in me and I may make that someday. But this is the vid it needed to be for the time I made it. I hope you enjoy it.

This was wonderful. I kept recognizing bits and squealing in delight - seeing Luna from "Mark of the Vampire" made me lose my shit so thoroughly that I scared my cat. The timing was impeccable, and whether you meant it to be funny or not, I found Vincent Price's five billion appearances hilarious. The ending shot from Dr. Caligari was just the icing on the cake (or the blood on the knife, as it were). Thank you for reminding me of so many movies that have made me happy over the years.

Haha, I didn't even realize how much Vincent was in that vid. I'm a big fan of the Corman Poe cycle, so that probably accounts for a lot of it. Even made a vid about those movies a couple years ago.
