Thanks to the really terrible influence of jmtorres, I have now seen all of Seasons 1, 2, and 3A of Teen Wolf and one-third of Season 3B.

It's a really terrible show guys. Like, it started out kind of fun, but now it's so, so bad. And I keep watching it.

Still do not see what this Sterek thing is all about. However, I would not be against a Scott/Allison/Isaac OT3. Or Lydia/Allison. Or the Peter and Stiles Snark At Everybody Hour. Can we get a spin-off of competent/awesome parents coping with a supernatural world, starring Melissa McCall, Sheriff Stilinski, and featuring Chris Argent?

But seriously, the show needs to stop killing off its people of color and rotating out their featured female shape-shifters every story arc. It is possible to have more than one POC and female shape-shifter at a time, people.

Also, please f**king figure out your plotarcs ahead of time? kthnx

Heh, I haven't allowed myself to get into Teen Wolf (or SPN, thank the gods) but I so know what you mean by the "halp this show is so bad and I can't stop watching". Exactly my feelings on Once Upon a Time and Doctor Who. OR ESPECIALLY How I Met Your Mother, which I was only able to break free of between seasons.

I totally don't see Sterek on the show either, but damn the fic is hot.

3B has been much much much better than 3A, so at least there's that, and HOMG Dylan O'Brien. Him and his amazing face and his phenomenal talent have kept me tuning in.

THE PLOTARCS. GAH. I think even Ronald D. "Let me pull this development out of my ass" Moore had more of a guiding vision than the TW PTB.

Preeeeetty much. It could have been such a good show. I've learned not to get too optimistic about developing plot arcs because they probably will manage to fuck it up somehow.
Genuinely loved seasons 1 and 2, but it got to a point where I can't look past all the bad things anymore. And there are so many bad things, SO MANY OF THEM. (but... I also know I won't stop watching anytime soon. HALP)

These days I mostly just feel really bad for the actors -- it's a great cast with a lot of talent and potential that's being wasted on bad writing, and a showrunner who doesn't treat them with the respect they deserve.

+1 to this post. I could've written it too. I keep saying I watch it in self-defense, to understand what fen are talking about at cons. :p

I still do not like Derek, so Sterek is a non-starter. But I adore most of the kids, and am breathlessly awaiting a Melissa McCall/Sheriff kiss.

Also more Danny. ALWAYS MORE DANNY. (Which, yay for the gay kid getting the most sex, but maybe he could have some other kind of scene? Like as part of the plot without being a random victim?)

That being said, scallisaac and allydia are where it's at. Some of the ship names are better than the plot lines.

I do. It's on the back burner because the show isn't giving me what I want for it. I'm sure I'll never get what I need and I'll have to make it myself after the character dies.

It is astounding how many vid ideas I have for this show. I have 7 solid ideas I want to do and I've actually plan on doing one if them for WisCon. I hope I get my shit together. I downloaded new PURDY source this weekend and hope my new technical skills for files works well.

I remember watching Stargate: Atlantis to understand the fics and have a frame of reference for the fanart and vids. Not even that comes close to how much I watch Teen Wolf for a jumping off point. I wish there was a term for it, but there's to describe watching a terrible show primarily for the fandom and fan works.

I still have to watch 3b and question my life choices.
