Title: I Don't Speak Hungarian
Song: Orange Lounge - FuriFuri '60
Source: A koppányi aga testamentuma
Warnings: None that I can think of
Made for: Third Mouse, Festivids 2012
Summary: Swords, romance, comedy -- this stuff transcends the language barrier (I hope).
Now remastered with DVD source! And a few timing tweaks. And one replaced clip that looked really terrible once you could actually see what was going on.

Notes: While all of my Festivids are made for their recipient, I usually try to vid with a slightly broader appeal in mind. Here, I was laser-focused on pleasing my recipient and my recipient alone, which was rather freeing.
A koppányi aga testamentuma is a Hungarian adventure film about a guy who avenges his father's death, gets rich, falls in love, gets kidnapped, escapes, and then loses his riches, but is happy about it. I think. See, not only is this film in Hungarian, but there are no English-language subtitles available. I couldn't even track down an English-language synopsis. I had to rely on Google Translate, which was often hilarious.
Why did I make a vid for a source I don't have any hope of fully comprehending? Because
thirdblindmouse is awesome and deserves a vid for her favorite ridiculous Hungarian action-adventure-comedy.
I apologize for the low quality of the video. What you see is what I could get. I'm hoping to locate a better copy of the film at some point to remaster the whole thing. I may need to ask the maker of the other A koppányi aga testamentuma vid about where they got their source, because that one was looking sweet. Yay DVD source has allowed me to remaster this!
Quick thanks to
echan and
anoel who were cheerleaders and
absolutedestiny for giving me the song.
