This Can't Be Good

My air conditioning is shrieking. If I turn it on, I won't be able to sleep because of the noise (and also, probably exacerbating some problem). If I turn it off, I won't be able to sleep because of the Arizona cusp-of-summer heat.

You know, for all the times I complain about being royally fucked, I never stop to appreciate the times I really am. Oh, wait. This isn't appreciation. It's screaming anxiety. Never mind.

Thought of that, but if something's really wrong with the air conditioning, I don't want to keep it running. I could be turning a simple one hour repair into several days of workmen tromping through my apartment. Nobody wants that.
