I've been watching the hell out of this series. It's awesome.

Just finished "Through the Looking Glass" and something bothered me about it. Our Sisko is kidnapped and replaces his mirror universe self (who has died). In order to complete the illusion, he has to (it is heavily implied) sleep with mirror!Jadzia (I am not certain she's actually Dax in this reality -- Sisko calls her that, but she seems a little taken aback by it) and mirror!Kira (actually mirror!Kira may just be making out). He doesn't seem to, uh, object. Which is fine for his cover, I guess, but seriously, am I crazy to think there's something that they should've dealt with there? I mean, at least have Sisko be awkward about it later. Prime!Dax is Sisko's mentor and friend. Prime!Kira is his first officer. This should be weird for him and problematic as well. Even if he can't admit as much to them directly, just a private moment where he *deals* with it (or to mirror!O'Brien, who's in on the deception). I would've been happy then.

Gah. I don't know. Am I making any sense?

Trek Mirrorverse is the fantasyland BDSM AU kinkworld universe. Consequences? What consequences? Also: logic, what logic.

No, no. It makes sense. And, yes, it was completely glossed over. I find it somewhat forgiveable, though.
