I know! I am tempted to just vid all my festivids fandoms that aren't used. Which is a terrible idea, because then I would make like 50 vids for fandoms that probably no one is in but me.
I didn't join Festivids in time for nominations last year, which was probably for the better. Now there are at least 200 fandoms I am really excited to offer/request, as opposed to like... 15 last year.
That is both a terrible and awesome idea. If I could get my vidding engine roaring again (I used to be so much more prolific), I would join you in said awfulsome idea.
I'm very excited to start vidding for someone else.
(that said, if I have to vid for someone whose work I squee about from afar, I might just pass out from panic)
I had another idea of making a gift vid for every single person who signed up. I think I would probably die though and if I made that many vids in that short a period of time, they probably would not be very good. I AM JIUST EXCITED, OKAY?
And yes, I am too! I've been looking forward to this since... well, basically since festivids ended last year. But after meeting all the awesome people at vividcon, I am even more excited. But yeah, I am a little afraid of getting someone I flail over. I am glad I met most of them during Club Vivid because if I wasn't drunk, I probably would have exploded (although I did probably embarrass myself with "OMG YOUR VIDS ARE AMAZING I LOVE YOU!").
This is my first year and I'm completely totally excited as well. SO YOU'RE COMPLETELY JUSTIFIED, OKAY? *G*
There was a point where someone who I practically model myself after as a vidder said something nice about a vid that I made and I turned into a complete puddle of goo for the rest of the night.
