Still Alive

I haven't disappeared. I'm just busy busy busy.

1. My Club Vivid vid of awesomeness.

2. A Barney/Robin vid that I bunnied on over the weekend. I've been meaning to do one forever, then "Rough Patch" came along and killed my desire. However, I found the perfect song and now I'm laying down clips.

3. Just bunnied on my Vividcon Premieres vid. It's kind of my attempt to be absolutedestiny, except I'll still be me (translation: I'll cling to the lyrics like a seat-cushion-turned-flotation-device). It's Classic Hollywood set to Classic 70s Rock.

4. For some reason, I feel this driving need to construct a How I Met Your Mother chronology.

5. At some point I tripped and fell face-first into my own web design firm? Don't ask me how. It's all very Vorkosigan-y. I have three projects lined up right now.

Seriously. One design (half my payment for the wedding photography) became two (my sister's clothing design start-up) became three (a sci-fi site spruce-up). I should probably put up a portfolio website at some point.

I also still have my 7-minute-long history of horror vid that's basically my "Hard Sun," insomuch that it's intensely personal. Unfortunately, it's intensely personal for the me who made it a year ago. Now... it doesn't fit and it doesn't seem useful to anybody but me-from-a-year-ago. Ever run into something like that? I'm trying to figure out what to do with the damn thing.

I find it hard to believe that no one else would get anything out of it. In any case, it sounds like it would be really nice to have just to remind you of who you were at a certain time.

Some of the clips are from temp sources I haven't bothered replacing yet. With 200 different sources, I had to get clever.

It's an insane timeline. Off the top of my head I can think of the goat, which they kept circling around before actually getting to the explanation. There was a point in their I got confused and gave up on trying to keep the timeline right. :)
