Money (Just Like Pink Floyd Sang)

I have two major financial goals right now. One is Comic-Con (hotel funds, food funds, airfare, useless t-shirt funds, plus new Classic-Horror cards for myself and an associate) and the other is a shiny new/refurbished Apple iBook.

My hope is I can get the laptop before Comic-Con, but that's going to be tricky. I only have control over a few financial factors - how much electricity I use, my food bills, how many unpaid sick days I take, and how much I can squeeze out of Classic-Horror.

So, it's back to what I was doing in October - detailed to-do lists and careful tracking of costs. Also, lots and lots of ramen. Mm... salt and carbohydrates. Nummy.

This also means fewer trips to Willow House for mochas and pesto pita pizzas. Bastard.

Ideas:

List huge book collection (I am pretty sure you have one) on Half.com. Back when I was first broke, it was a nice steady income.

Ditto music collection and/or VHS tape collection (barring the ones you need for Classic-Horror.com).

Hit Craigslist and pick up short boring writing gigs.

Forget the Raman. Peanut butter and oatmeal, man.

Sell my stuff? *clings* Actually, I am trading in a bunch of books at a local used shop for credit so I can continue my buying addiction without fear of using actual money.
