William was a huge fan of the Puppetmaster series, but I think I only ended up with the third movie which is, in my opinion, about a hundred times better than any of the others.

I do believe he forced me to watch every single Full Moon direct to video horror flick out there when we were dating.

Also, I have never, ever forgiven him for 'Seedpeople'. Ever.

My Full Moon experience up until Saturday night had been the two films that Stuart Gordon did for them -- Pit and the Pendulum and Castle Freak (both with Jeffrey Combs -- woot!). At Comic-Con this year they had an 18-film box set, signed by Charles Band, for something like 75 bucks. It had the two Gordon films, the first three Puppetmaster movies, the first three Trancers films, the first three Subspecies movies, and a whole bunch of other weird crap. How could I go wrong?

Oh dear lord - I've seen all of those and then some and man... I need to find some of those movies. I think Puppetmaster III is still the only Full Moon title I actually own and for all that some of those movies are so very, very bad, some of my fondest memories are connected with them.

I think I shall go shopping at some point.
