I just. I. Just. I was sort of vaguely spec-spoilered on the ending but not to any degree of detail and they got half of it wrong and honestly if you pick it apart it reads as the Doctor *killed* Donna against her will while she was begging him not to, so some essentially brain-damaged version of her could live. The hell gives him the right?
(That said, I suspect there's still repercussions coming and the show might very well be aware of how shitty a thing it was to do. I'll just be over here wanting to pimp-slap him for a while.)
