Shiny. If I didn't like Blair Witch (partly the characters didn't grab me, and partly some "when are we going to get to the fireworks factory" boredom) is Cloverfield worth my time?
Minor nitpick: It's "The Shadow Over Innsmouth," innit?
I don't know if the characters will grab you -- there seems to be a 50/50 divide on the Internet between "Just how I'd react" and "OMG PRETTY VAPID DIE NOW". There is *plenty* of payoff in this one, though. So much stuff I didn't cover for the sake of keeping it a surprise.
Re: Innsmouth. Most of the Lovecraft paragraph was derived from conversations with my esteemed Managing Deaditor midnightfae, but I ended up writing it while she was at work. I'll fix it.
