azurelunatic wants to hear my thoughts on "The internet."


Obviously, I use the Internet. I'm not magically transmuting pen and paper to digital information with my mind or anything. I'm sitting at a keyboard accessing all sorts of stuff and it's fun.

It's also ruinous. Fucking Internet.

The Internet is really just a tool to keep the ADD-man (and woman) down, even in a galaxy far far away. Check this shit. You got the Internet, mass media poster boy, short news articles, single-serving content. Then you got me, the most distracted motherfucker in the galaxy, brainflutter God.

(what's a brainflutter?) Shut the fuck up. Now, this single-serving crap, The Internet, gets its hands on a cable modem, decides he's gonna run the motherfuckin' universe. Gets a whole network of sites together and they gonna bust up Nate's focus, the Frontal Lobe. Now what do you call that? (distribution of content?) Complicit addiction! They gonna make the universe quote-unquote "safe" for unconnected folks.

And Livejournal is the most insulting of the websites. In January, the site goes down to reveal a weekend with nothing but real world activities. They trying to tell us that deep inside, we all want to be offline! (well, isn't that true?)
