He's one of the people vying for the Republican candidacy for the 2008 presidential elections. He also took an 8 hours family road trip with this Irish Setter strapped to the top of his car in a hard carrier. The poor dog was so terrified the crate, the dog and parts of the car were covered in feces by the end.

*grumbles* The story came to light recently... after the statute of limitations had passed.

I've wikipedia'd him (can we make that a verb in the same way that 'googling' has become one?) and the socialist in me is kinda wishing I was in the US right now, just so that I could be actively campaigning against him.

Wow. Cruelty to animals aside, what I've read just gets my hackles up. *shudders a little*
