Saxon Speculation
May. 10th, 2007 12:48 pmWhat if Mr. Saxon is not The Master, but is in fact, The Valeyard. "You are not alone" would only be half-correct, since The Valeyard *is* The Doctor. Sort of. He's a manifestation of The Doctor's dark side that exists as a conduit between his 12th and 13th forms.
It's certainly an interesting thought.
My dark horse vote is that Saxon is Turlough.

Date: 2007-05-10 08:22 pm (UTC)Plus, explanations for those not in the know are easier.
Martha: "Who's The Master?"
The Doctor: "Oh, he's an evil Time Lord. School chum of mine."
--or--
Martha: "Who's The Valeyard?"
The Doctor: "Oh, he's an evil version of me from between my regenerations. I'm not even sure how that works."

Date: 2007-05-10 08:26 pm (UTC)I'm sticking with the anagram theory (cuz Torchwood):
Saxon = Axons (buddies of The Master)
--OR--
Mister Saxon = Master No. Six (the first being far more likely)
Still, I do like The Valeyard theory, mostly because Michael Jayston FTW.
