There's definitely a "drama queen/attention whore" element to them. I think I'm just too out of it right now to care. When I wake up more (if ever), I may wish I hadn't done it.

I'll second this. I put this in my journal so that comments would show up in my email. I like the beeping noise my computer makes when I have email. Mmmm... beepy goodness.
