- Why did the premiere have to be a freakin' Jack episode? His flashbacks are always the most boring. "I have Daddy issues and I learn a lesson about the power of healing." Pft. Jack's one of those characters where I don't really care how he got here, I just want to see where he's going to (kinda. sorta. maybe).

- I do love how Jack's becoming more of an autocratic asshole. I hope that the writers are deliberately inserting that as a character flaw and not a "Jack is teh win" attribute.

- OMG Jack/Desmond OTP!

- Ultimately, the episode was very confused... not a good way to introduce your burgeoning ratings hit to new viewers. Although I appreciate the re-airing of that special from last year.

I've seen one episode of Lost and it confused me to no end. I kind of gave up on it after that.
