Mommy, the Web Toy Confuses Me!
Feb. 16th, 2007 10:09 amThe Gender Genie is a tool that allows you to enter 500 words of text, select whether its fiction, non-fiction, or a blog post and then it will tell you if the text was written by a male or a female.
It keeps telling me I write like a girl. I find this kind of amusing.
ETA: I've run a few of my Classic-Horror.com reviews through as non-fiction and the tool finds me indisputably male. Then again, it also finds
midnightfae's reviews to be male-ish, also. Apparently, only guys use the word "the" a lot. Damn those specific definite articles.
