Just saw it tonight and enjoyed it greatly, though it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Will post my thoughts on it at a more reasonable hour. ;)

It's at the AMC Esplanade on Camelback in Phoenix. And it wins.

I also loved it. Dan did, too, although it was much gorier than either of us anticipated.

I have ONE bitch with it... and it's about the grapes scene. I can see why they did it for the plot, but I think it was way OOC.

I wanted more time in the world, too, but... that's me.

The whole grapes scene seemed like a direct call to the myth of Persephone, so I was myth!geek squeeing the whole time.

Oh it was, but I still don't believe that Ofelia would have done it, in that situation.

How about this? I'm a mythic folklore: home remedies geek, so I was squeeing over the whole mandrake part. I LOVED that.
