The Writing Round-Up 2005

I can't sleep, so I meme. For those just tuning in, this is a good introduction to what I do occasionally when I get the time or compunction to write:

I'm really looking forward to 2006. I want to get off my lazy ass and just write some good fics, finish the ones I've started, etc. My only problem is that I *hate* writing. Hate it. I love having written, though. It's a terrible curse, really.

In other, unrelated news, I came back to my apartment building last night to discover that a package had been delievered to the office... and that the office was closed until December 27th for the holidays.

I am a wee bit annoyed, because I suspect I know what said package contains and I need to obsess over it. It's a whole thing.

Let's Clean Up in Anticipation of the New Year

I just e-mailed Jef my resignation from the Jester'z (the improv troupe I trained under for a year and then performed with for another 6 months after that). They've made some changes to how the L3 players are handled, and it just doesn't sound like my cup of tea. It's not like my heart's been in it, anyway. It's been a good run, wish I could have done more with it, but I let things get away from me. It's probably best just to make the clean cut.

ETA: But this is the coolest commercial ever. No CGI or special effects here, folks. Just a bunch of cameras, the hills of San Francisco, 250,000 superballs, and something every kid would die to do (and pretty much every adult, too). Also available in low-res
