Apparently, my record player is broken. Which is sort of how I ended up replacing the needle in the first place. I assumed the problem was with the needle, so I was jiggering with it and it snapped off. So, I bought a replacement. And now I have to buy a new record player.

Bah.

I've gotten a couple record players for $10 or less at the local Salvation Army. So check thrift stores, you may be able to find one for nice and cheap that works, especially since you're not in need of a needle.

I'm buying an entirely new stereo, actually. It's about time I got one.
