I actually loved AvP, in all its cheesy glory. But I don't consider it a part of the Alien series, or the Predator series for that matter. I just thought it was a very fun romp of a movie, and I really enjoyed the return to good old fashion puppets, make-up, and costumes as opposed to everything CGI. As far as "Creature vs. Creature" movies go, it was the best one I've ever seen, though that's not really saying much considering the general quality of that category of films. ;)
