Good News/Bad News
Jun. 25th, 2004 01:55 pmGood news: They hired me. On the spot. They said I had the personality and the attitude of a winner.
Bad news: Worst possible job I could work. Ever. Entirely based on commission, working in an industry I couldn't give a whit about, and just... it gives me a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, the whole thing.
Plus, the training pay is Per Transaction... I can't live like that. So, I'm turning them down. I appreciate the ego boost, but this isn't the job for me.
Damn.

> Huh. This post broke my friends list. Weird.
hmm, that is unusual. I myself, a little bit ago, noticed that a poll I had embedded into my entry (, for that particular day) I guess didn't gel well, in a particular form that I had it, with LJ's free-user layout ;) . Both my website and your friend's page should be good, now - my apologies if it did anything crazy (or, alternately, "wonky", if we will. or even : "willy wonka-y". "Why are there 7 Oompa-loompas in my 'comments' section?")
If you like, a standard poll, in a regular, thin column, 'normal button' mode can be embedded into a basic LJ entry - a neat thing to have if one wants to use it. Normally, if only for the aforementioned display purposes, LJ does not allow polls in the free-user entries. I was glad to find a website in which (, mostly) it was readable. It is : sparklit.com. A free registration is required.
Okay. Take care! I hope your friends page is back to normalcy :>
