Vid needed: Asian, pre-1969 source

Cherry and I are putting together a vidshow for vids made from older (pre-1969, pre-1973 at a stretch) sources and as we were discussing it, we realized that there was a significant cultural gap -- we were missing vids made from older Asian sources. So we went looking. And looking. And looking. And came up with a couple Youtube vids that were sort of okay, but not really what we wanted.

So I reach out to you, my fellow vid lovers. Do you know of any vids, preferably based on the work of Akira Kurosawa? If you don't know any vids, might you be inspired to make us one? A PREMIERE? 

Some great potential Kurosawa vidding sources include Seven Samurai (proto-Magnificent 7), Ikiru, Yojimbo/Sanjuro (proto-A Fistful of Dollars), The Hidden Fortress (proto-Star Wars), and Throne of Blood (Macbeth!).

Hm, this really cuts out pretty much all anime. There was a 1960s Astro Boy cartoon, but I don't know how many vids there are that use just the 1960s source and not also footage from the '80s tv series and more recent adaptations.

If you're interested in stretching just *slightly* further into the 1970s, these are some 1970s anime and how they are listed at animemusicvideos.org:

Gatchaman (Battle Of The Planets, G-Force) (1972-1974)
Space Battleship Yamato (Original, TV) (1974)
Heidi: Girl of the Alps (1974)
Devilman (1972-1973 -- unfortunately, this search result doesn't seem to exclude sequels, remakes, etc., so you'll want the ones that are ONLY Devilman and not "Devilman, Devilman OVA, Return of Devilman," etc.)

There was also "Lupin III Part I" which was a tv series from (1971-1972) but again most of the videos on animemusicvideos.org used footage from later series & movies.
