I have no idea re: vidding, but I do love plugging a good band:
The Weakerthans (best damn lyricists in modern indie rock, imo) Zola Jesus (gothicy overtones, sort of lo-fi powerhouse-y) The Dø (French/Finnish genre-bending duo I've recently become slightly obsessed with) The National (maaaaaaaaybe on its way to cliche? Slow Show has definitely been vidded, but their other stuff is also phenom) And everyone needs to do more TMBG vidding. But I may be biased.
I can come up with more when I'm home next to my computer with the mp3 collection -- this one is somewhat lacking.
