Hey, you. Asshole. Yeah, you know who you are. We had an appointment. You were really excited about it on the phone, maybe, or perhaps you just impressed upon me its importance. Could be you didn't say anything, but you did go through the effort to set a point in time where we would both be at the same location with the assumption that we would then do something. Something important enough that I'm willing to not do other things just to meet up with you.

So, my question to you, sir/madame, isn't about where the fuck you may have gotten off to. I couldn't care less, honestly. If you decided that getting blown by a 12-year-old Laotian boy had greater priority than moving your ass to meet up with me, then bully for you, and be sure to tip. Just don't expect me to actually, be, oh, happy with you.

Here's the thing, bucko. I got a life. Most days, it's a slip of a thing, but it's a life. I take time out of my day to meet up with you, with the expectation that you're going to fufill your end of the contract. You don't come, and what the hell am I supposed to think? I become bitter with you for wasting my time, and I become more jaded about people in general. If I become that cold-hearted, twisted recluse on the hill that sits on the porch with a shotgun on Halloween so none of those damn kids come near my property, it'll be on your shoulders, pal.

So do me a favor? Just be there when you say you'll be there. I don't want to spend a lifetime being Crazy Old Man Yapp, 'kay?
