FCPX Continued
Sep. 1st, 2012 08:10 pmSo that awesome transition I was so excited about? Crashed FCPX. Putting in on the timeline was fine. So was viewing it. Trying to click it on the timeline crashed the program without fail. This was on my test project. I created a new project and tried the transition on different clips and it worked fine. Not sure what's going on there.
It's nice having features like "Speed Ramp" that I don't currently have in Final Cut Express, even if the interface for adjusting them is occasionally frustrating.
Dragging and dropping effects is cool. I love the new text effects and the ability to edit the text directly on the video.
Altogether, I don't know. I think I'll have a better idea of what's going on when I make a vid properly from beginning to end.
Now I just need a small, non-ambitious vid project.
