midnightfae's ancestral home (so to speak), after an uneventful but looooong 13-hour drive (include two hours where we pulled into a gas station and napped). On Monday, we move midnightfae into her new apartment in Davis, CA. Then I fly home. By myself. To my newly roommate-free apartment.
There's a certain melancholy pall over this whole weekend, I won't lie.
