I Am Returned

Jesus, what a bash. midnightfae's awesome secret-up-until-last-Monday birthday surprise was a three-day party with seven of my closest friends flying (or driving) in from around the country to hang. There was much booze, Rock Band, Clone High, Dr. Tran, British television, Youtube, and karaoke.

Plus, Versus. Every party that has Versus wins.

In attendance were (in order of arrival, roughly), timjr, theninthdoctor, diannelamerc, lizbetann, faithfully_luna, _jealousy_, and airawyn (in addition to midnightfae and myself).

So. Much. Fun. My friends are the awesomest.

Now I'm completely and totally wiped. Wowsers.

I wrote about 75% of a NaNo novel in November 2006. It's... 37,500 words of pure idiocy. I kept to the basic NaNo tenet of just writing whatever and ended up writing something sloppy, offensive, and occasionally quite clever. I still have it -- it's completely unedited. I'd be willing to toss it up at lanky_writing (or here if there's enough interest). It's a sci-fi detective story starring an ADD bigot solving a case that's about as clear-cut as "The Big Sleep."
