Notes: I loved this film when I saw it in the theater and knew a vid would happen. But what song? Thankfully, the coffeehouse in my building has great music and this Gorillaz song came on. I put it on my list of "Songs to find a source for" and the next day it all came together. I'm really pleased with how this turned out, because I'm doing a lot faster cutting than usual and I had some trouble with the file I was using being super-super dark (thank you Final Cut Pro X for making color/brightness/contrast adjustments easy).

Awesome.

I'm not the biggest fan of dance music, and am wary of Gorrilaz, but this music just fits perfectly.

Your lyric-based cuts are inspired and just generally, you capture the feel of the film so well I'm going to rewatch it all over again right now.

As soon as I saw the combo of movie/song/vidder I knew this was going to be awesome. Great matchup, esp. for how the emotions of the scenes matched the music. You'd think they made the movie to match the song (or vice versa).

There were some cuts here and there to make the song match the movie a bit more, but yeah, I'm really shocked with how well this worked out.
