More Once a Thief

Yeah, I should be talking about Doctor Who right now, but there wasn't nearly enough Rory.

I'm starting to get a little irritated with this show. First it keeps on insisting on breaking up my OT3. Then it takes the *single* *most* *annoying* *character* *EVER* and makes her recurring. She's admittedly toned down from her first appearance, but she's still so grating.

Mac is still adorable. Vic is still the perfect deadpan snarker, and Li Ann can still kick your ass so, so hard. And The Director is still evil and manipulative. So yay.

I have about eight episodes left.

ETA: I take my greivances back. In the first 39 seconds of the new episode, I get OT3 pointing guns at high octane nightmare fuel. LOVE.

Awww, you don't like Jackie? Admittedly I love everyone on this show, so :D I suspect her role was originally intended to be filled by the Director's 'niece' but I have no proof of that, only that two teenage near sociopaths with a similar relationship to the Director causing chaos is pretty coincidental.

And yes, they did sort of back off the OT3 for awhile (though there is most definitely more), which...a bit frustrating but I think it is a lot to do with that earlier post I made which is that the more you see the three of them together the less sense it makes to go anywhere but a canon threesome relationship. Breaking them off into pairs for episodes is a cheat to get all three relationships without having to really go there is my theory.

Why can't they go there, dammit?! I don't ship. It's not a thing that I do often. But I ship those three *so* *hard*.

I do kind of like that Mac and Vic have settled into a lightly snarky patter, but I miss the days when they beat the crap out of each other at the drop of a hat. That was *fun*.

I loved that one for the little pop-up video bits. They were hilarious.

This show is SO ORSOME WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE.

fan_eunice was warbling on about Mac and how adorable he is, but I think I instantly fell in love with Li Ann in the first five seconds of film, and have proceeded to nurture that throughout the series. Like seriously. Mac and Vic are awesome in their own ways, but Li Ann > everyone.

Also, THE DIRECTOR. HOLY FRIJOLES. How do I love her? I can't even count the ways. I love how she sexually harasses Mac. I shouldn't, because sexual harassment is not nice, but it makes me LOL because she always does it to knock him down a peg and he gets this look and it's hilarious. Also love how she slashes herself with everyone.

Li Ann is so much awesome. I just finished the episode where she lead the revolution against bureaucracy. I was v. v. amused that her number for the line was 1984.

The Director! OMG. SO MUCH LOVE. Such a BAMF. Speaking of mad, bad, and dangerous to know.
