Perky for Percoset
I went in for some minor outpatient surgery today (extremely minor) to drain an abscess that had been causing me no small amount of pain over the past three or four days. The procedure itself hurt, despite a local anesthetic, because the area wasn't highly vascularized (which is good, because if it had been, the infection might've hit my bloodstream).
The doctor prescribed Percoset for the pain. I'm on said Percoset right now. It's very, very nice. I'm supposed to stay on it for ten days, even while I'm at work.
Doobie doobie doo.
midnightfae keeps looking at me funny. We were watching Robin Hood: Men in Tights and I kept laughing heartily at puns and silly sight gags. But they were funny! Funny funny funny.
Funny.

Not that I'm saying you shouldn't take it - pain meds are helpful for a quick recovery. I had it after my last surgery and it definitely worked wonders for the pain.
