I Am Now Obligated to See JJ Abrams' "Star Trek"
Simon Pegg to play Lt. Montgomery Scott in JJ Abrams'
Star Trek

Hell. Yes.

Dude.
...he'll need to put back on all that weight he lost for Hot Fuzz.

He already has for "Run, Fat Boy, Run."
Besides, Scotty was actually much trimmer in the original series.

Heh. True.
I'm still not sure what to make of this 'reboot'. The cast so far is a bizarre mixed bag. I... it's strange, because classic Trek may be one of the few things where I might actually have some sort of feeling towards not 'remaking/reimagining'

Yes, but. Simon Pegg.
There is only one thing I will not see Simon Pegg in, and that's
Mission: Impossible III
, because I have personal objections to Tom Cruise.

The funny thing is I'm more that way with Nick Frost, now, rather than Simon...

I have a bad feeling about this. I love old Trek, cheese and all, and am in fear of this remake.
On the other hand, I vowed never to watch the BSG remake, and look where that got me.
