jetpack_monkey | Doctor Who 3x09 Family of Blood

Meh. I liked last week's episode quite a bit because the focus was on Martha and her perceptions of the new surroundings. This week we focused quite intently on John Smith and frankly, I don't give enough of a damn about him. He's a whiny ingrate. Paul Cornell did not make his potential loss palpable.

Also, the damn thing just took forever. I don't think they had quite enough story to stretch to two episodes, so they kept adding endings on top of endings. I just wanted to get to my damned "next week" preview already.

*sigh* Did so love Martha and the Matron, though. They should team up and fight crime. With the bones of their hands.
