Busy Worker Bee is Busy

This is half for my own tracking purposes and half just to illustrate my own insanity. My to-do list through October:

General stuff on the plate now

  • Edit reviews for Night Monster, Raw Meat, Halloween 4, Madhouse
  • Revise my own Captive Wild Woman review
  • Write interview questions for Hammer actor-turned-novelist
  • Write The Undying Monster review

Podcast (coming sooooooon)

  • Edit first episode of Classic-Horror.com podcast
  • Re-record any (read: all) bits where I was speaking too fast for reasonable listening
  • Post and promote

Godzilla Week (third week of May)

  • Finish Godzilla 1985 review
  • Write Gojira review
  • Write Ghidorah review
  • Edit Godzilla 2000 and other Godzilla 1985 review (long story)
  • Write Godzilla week intro

Redesign (launching June 15th)

  • Clean up the last remaining bits of design chaff.
  • Finish tagging reviews
  • Run some basic usability tests with both staff and friends.

Classic-Horror.com's 10th Birthday (June 15th)

  • Prepare gallery of past site designs
  • Write misty, sniffly reminiscence.

Vividcon Vid (due June 26th)

  • Finish rough draft
  • Have [livejournal.com profile] echan rip it a new one
  • Finish second draft.
  • Have [livejournal.com profile] echan rip it a new one
  • Repeat until awesome.

Comic-Con (starts late July)

  • As little as possible (going mostly socially this year)

Shocktober (whole month of October)

  • Solicit staff participation
  • Write a bunch of reviews (going by past years, this could be anything from 6 to 13 reviews, although given that we're doing 31 instead of 22 this year, call it 9 to 18)
  • Edit the other 13-22 reviews
  • Write Masters biographies for:
    • Vincent Price
    • Boris Karloff
    • Peter Cushing
    • Barbara Steele
    • Christopher Lee
    • Bela Lugosi
    • Hazel Court
  • Write intros for each day of the week (we're doing themed weekdays this year ("Vincent Price Thursdays", "Barbara Steele Sundays," etc)

Wow! You are busy! And that isn't even including your non-CH stuff. Crazy.

Glad to hear CC is mostly social for you this year, and wish like hell I could be there to enjoy it. It'd be nice to spend time with you when you aren't stressing about jumping from one horror panel to the next!
